This thesis work undertakes an examination of factors influencing the quality and spectacle of race car events, focusing on NTT IndyCar Series races, throughout the development of a simulation tool. For each car configuration, the thesis explores quantifying the race quality by running hundreds and hundreds random races for each configuration. The study represent an interesting case of practical application of race car vehicle dynamics to entertainment. By concentrating upon diverse parameters such as caution periods, race length, vehicle mass and starting grid configurations, the study offers insights into possible strategies for enhancing the Race Quality. Notably, the analysis has revealed optimal results with the exploration of potential regulation changes or the addition of an innovative approach to existing race formats. The outcome of the study would add valuable perspectives for IndyCar organizers and stakeholders. The study could also be utilized , with minor adaptations, to other motor racing organizers seeking to quantify and improve the entertainment value and therefore the economic value of race events.
