Nowadays, people’s lives change every day, so the demand for electronic devices serving daily life also sets the standards, and requirements higher and higher. Since then, engineerings have designed, developed compact, and lightweight devices for human use and service, such as hearing aids, pacemakers, and so on. Initially, the devices were just independent components with no new linkages. But over time, to help make data easy to analyze to improve quality, as well as to ensure risk reduction that might be caused by worst-case scenarios. Devices have to be tailored to be interconnected through technologies like Bluetooth or Cloud. Besides that, to enhance the aesthetics of fashion, design engineers have created small devices, but still meet the requirements of consumers‘ demand. These devices are gradually integrated fashion items that become smartwatches, smart glasses, etc. In particular, we can see that the SimpleLink Multi-Standard CC2650STK SensorTag is a device manufactured by Texas Instrument that focuses on the use of wireless sensors to create low energy applications; it is equipped with Bluetooth Smart, which enables it to communicate wirelessly with similar devices like smartphones and computers, assisting greatly in app development. The device support 10 low-power sensor, including ambient light, digital microphone, magnetic sensor, humidity, pressure, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, object temperature, and ambient temperature, which can be utilized to track and log personal data in real-time. For this thesis, we focus on movement sensor in SensorTag (the 9-axis Motion Tracking Device with Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer) In this thesis, we will analyze the structure of the device, the method to collect data through the cloud, and the acquisition mode in the Matlab environment of the data generated by its sensors. Besides that, we will consider sensor calibration, the reason why we need sensor calibration, the signals produced by the sensors cannot be used as they are since the sensors are not calibrated.
