Abstract
Gender discrimination, which is increasingly widespread and current, is often not only fueled by a male-dominated society, but also by the abuse of the masculine plural too used in our Italian language. Although women are valued positively, they still live in the shadow of stereotypes that struggle to be overcome. The research stems from the desire to reduce this form of prejudice by overcoming the use of the overextended masculine. The hypothesis is to use a neutral form in the language, to enhance the message you want to communicate and the sender in a more positive way. |
