Abstract
The issue of energy efficiency buildings is very important in the world's energy in order to allow the reduction of pollutant emissions and also increase earnings in economic terms.
The work will focus on an office building.
In particular this paper will focus on the study and modeling of the structure through the use of Design Builder, an user-friendly’s Energy Plus interface, that allows to carry out analysis in dynamic regime.
Dynamic analysis allows to analyze the structure in short time-step and simulating the climatic variations, ensuring a high degree of knowledge of consumption.
The purpose of this thesis is to model the building and obtain, using the simulated model, a real consumption trend.
In order to achieve these results are defined, primarly, the variables that present uncertainties and modifying them carefully, in order to avoid the production of values scientifically meaningless.
To carry out this process, it will use the method of the energy signature, which is extremely useful in representing the evolution of consumption in their entirety.
The final result shows a new configuration values that perfectly represents the actual pattern of consumption.
At a later stage it builds the virtual energy signature, and compared with the real one considering the differences between the characteristic equations of the two lines and try to minimize the errors between real and simulated model through statistical indices such as RMSE and MBE.
The different configuration of some parameters between the real model and the simulated model is used to diagnose the parameters that are not actually observed in the real case.
These parameters will be the first significant values on which acting in order to make an effective energy improvements to the structure.
The process should be viewed as an energy audit, which aims to point out which parameters are really respected and which ones should be modified to ensure the proper functioning of the building.
For these reasons, the use of software in dynamic conditions are the basis for any appropriate choice reliable in the field of energy improvement, promising the development of sustainable economic.
