The banned substances control in driver and horseman designs to protect the sporting events integrity and the horse welfare; in order to ensure it, an internal screening and confirmatory method has been developed to identify qualitatively doping substances belonging to the following chemical classes: stimolants, narcotics, β2-agonists, β-blockers and anorexogenics. After the sample pre-treatment by enzymatic hydrolysis, this method provides a Solid Phase Extraction and High Performance Liquid Chromatography analysis coupled to a triple quadrupole Mass Spectrometer (HPLC-MS), positive polarity Esi source (MRM). The obtained results has been validated in relation with Calibration, Specifity, Limit of Detection (LOD), Precision and Percentage Recovery according to the criteria specified during the design. Finally, after the achieved parameters development and validation, positive control real samples has been analysed to verify the conformity/applicability of this kind of method.
