there are various ways for companies to expand their businesses. these days, according to market fluctuation, firms require to open up their development strategies in order to gain more ideas from outside beside the internal R&D process. The mentioned thesis aims to focus on such process in small and medium sized enterprises by doing a case study in Germany as well to find out the barriers and solutions of open innovation process.
