The identification of the racing line of a Moto GP motorcycle, a sport motorbikes, can be considered a key factor for the performance analysis, meaning the evaluation of the motorcycle behaviour: the aim of this project is to develop a model capable to reconstruct a motorcycle racing line performed by a rider, through the available measurements and on-board sensors. First, a sensitivity analysis is carried out to understand how this model can be achieved. Then, the Image Processing is introduced to have a confirmation of the result given by the model. Moreover, the latter is capable to compare two different motorcycle trajectories, whose aim is to understand riding style of two riders or how to improve a lap time. Concluding, several practical applications are carried out.
