Abstract
The thesis deals with the Post Processors design for CNC milling machines associated with Autodesk Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software. Firstly, we illustrate an overview of the CAD/CAM world, the universe of numerical control machines and their programming using G-code. Then, the operating logic of Post Processor in Autodesk environment is described in detail, defining the main elements of its internal structure.
In the second part, we proceed to the construction in Visual Code of a Post Processor for Fusion for a specific 3-axis milling machine, present in a university laboratory. This shows the design practical aspects, where this is initially based on pre-existing and pre-validated NC files of the milling machine, so that the new Post Processor produces outputs that conform to them. Subsequently, through further modifications to the Post, the aim is the NC files optimization.
