This paper tries to shed a light on the fact that our present impacts deeply on our future, understanding the attitudes consumers have about purchasing, installing and using renewable energies. By doing that, an in-depth analysis of sustainability development and renewable energies, touching several different arguments, such as the role of corporate social responsibility in consumption decisions, the stakeholders point of view toward environment and the green purchasing consumer behavior is presented. These themes are just the prelude to the empirical analysis. As a matter of fact, through an online survey, it has been investigated a wide sample of population, from whom data are being collected during a quantitative study. Finally, an analysis of the survey’s statistical results and the conclusions, for better understanding which are the consumers’ attitudes toward renewable energies and the relative managerial implications, are showed.
