In Italy the Kidney Replacement Therapy (KRT) is around 162 per million population (pmp) with a higher prevalence of Hemodialysis. Dialysis treatments increase life expectancy and, if performed correctly, improve patients' quality of life. On the other hand, adequacy of dialytic treatment has a big impact on health costs sustained by Regions and State. This important statement led us to analyze what is already performed in dialysis to have good adequacy of treatment and consequently try to enhance hemodialysis performance through patient-oriented and personalized healthcare treatment which takes into consideration different markers than those present in state of art which however can have an important impact on patient health. In order to improve treatment performances an Optoelectronic Sensing System based on spectroscopy, fluoresce, and dynamic light scattering techniques is developed, by taking into account specific characteristics of the markers of interest.
