Lo scopo di questa tesi di laurea è quello di presentare la nascita, lo sviluppo e la situazione attuale del welfare aziendale nel nostro Paese trasformato nel corso del tempo anche attraverso la contrattazione collettiva.
The purpose of this thesis is to present the birth, development and current situation of the corporate welfare in our country transformed over time through collective bargaining. The choice of this topic is due to personal interest and importance that the welfare now plays in our society. In this regard, several studies have been developed by the former Minister Tiziano Treu, to whom we owe the opera "Corporate welfare", and the journalist and politician Italian Maurizio Ferrara author of "Models of solidarity". In my paper I will try to examine various writings such as those of the above authors with a particular focus on current events and transformations that have taken place over the decades due to the economic crisis and the subsequent reduction of well-being in the population and workers . During the composition of the thesis will study the birth of the welfare state, its evolution within the Italian territory and subsequently the whole of many European countries until the composition of the European Union itself. In the eighties and nineties, in Europe, for economic, political, social and cultural crisis it was discovered one of the welfare system caused by an excessive cost for the states and a consequent rise in the tax burden. This sacrifice led to a decrease in investment and private consumption, leading to lower employment. For all these reasons, the welfare state is then transformed and evolved into other types such as corporate welfare and territorial one. Through the text of T. Treu you will be able to understand the characteristics of corporate welfare and its development and implementation in the different companies located in the Italian territory. Will be known as the crisis of recent years has encouraged the development of work-life balance and work and then spread to all those practices that can help workers in everyday life there where the state is unable to meet the needs of citizens. The role of collective bargaining is divided into two levels: national and decentralized. The second will be examined through the various protocols signed between the unions and businesses and specifically the case of Fiat and all the innovations that this has also contributed to other Italian companies. From here you can proceed with the examination of the various welfare inserted by the companies behind the proposal and comparison of the trade unions; are examples of additional health, smart working and multiple pretends benefits. Looking at the comparison between past and present in the area of welfare will examine the most important law, the No. 53/2000, and subsequent developments introduced by Law no. 92/2012 and dall'attualissimo Jobs Act. In the latter the news are many and important, the extension of parental leave to the incentive of teleworking to those made by the law of stability of the current year, including the severance pay in the envelope and the increase in the exemption limit for food stamps issued to workers.
