Abstract
Purpose: the study is divided into two phases. In the first phase we want to verify what are the alterations, from the topographic and chemical point of view, which occurs on the implant surfaces under examination following treatment with two cleaning methods (the best selected from a previous study). In the second we will evaluate the proliferation and bone cell morphology on original and treated surfaces. Materials and methods: titanium discs will be used in the study with two types of different surfaces (machined and XPEED®) and will be divided into three groups: a group will be formed from the original untreated surfaces, a group will be treated with nickel-titanium toothbrushes and a group treated with air polishing with sodium bicarbonate powder. The cells used in the second phase of the study are stem cells taken from the dental pulp (DPSCs). |
