Riassunto analitico
Nowadays, the words football and business are directly connected between each other: we can not talk about football without considering business models, as we can not talk about business without considering the most diffused sport in the world, which involves every year a huge amount of capital. Moreover, recently people are more interested also in the economic-financial aspects of sport in general, especially of football. Also, with the development of social networks, the economic-financial aspects above mentioned are nowadays available for everyone; it is normal for a fan today to visit a club’s website and observe for instance economic-financial results of his favorite club. In general, the business model of a football club has great influence on the everyday life of the club: it must be managed by an efficient and effective business unit and it needs adaptations to environmental changes. In this work, I will analyze what are the most successful football clubs business model in Europe (German and English ones) and the Italian one. First, I will explain what is the business model concept and its facets; then I will analyze how football is become an economic sector; thirdly, I will analyze some cases, considering the above mentioned countries; finally, I will try to give some conclusions to my work.
