n the last two decades the role of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing is exponentially increased in importance. A lot of the actual technologies such as WI- FI, 4G and 5G, exploit this digital modulation technique. OFDM is a technique that allows transmitting high data rates over hostile channels with a relativetely low complexity. In this work will be faced the develop of an OFDM transceiver through the tool Matlab and a Software Defined Radio in loo-pback as a channel. The goal is to build a modem OFDM able to comunicate between different SDR, here for availability reasons all is developed thanks to the loop-back feature of the Adalm Pluto SDR. The elaborate starts with a brief overview of digital wireless communication and OFDM basics then moving to an introduction of the Pluto SDR used. The OFDM system is build from scratch with Matlab and then adapted with further characteristics in order to be able to work with the SDR as channel.
