Abstract
Pollinators in Europe are at risk of extinction due to several factors: environmental pollution, land use change, invasive exotic species, intensive agricultural management and aggressive use of pesticides. The loss of pollinators and biodiversity has an impact on the environment and the economy.
Several companies are actively involved in sustainability and environmental protection, in modern society it is imperative to create a positive and lasting impact.
In this context we started by addressing the topic of Experiential Marketing, explaining the five strategic experiential modules: sense, feel, think, act and relate; the differences between traditional and experiential marketing and we have investigated consumer behavior through figures such as influencer marketing; focusing on customer satisfaction, that is the satisfaction related to the consumer experience. Then we discussed the theme of circular economies, the investment they represent for sustainability and the advantages they can bring to the Italian situation.
Within the research we analyzed the case of 3Bee, an agri-tech company and startup that develops intelligent monitoring and diagnostic systems for bee health. Through the use of exclusive technologies, beekeepers can constantly and accurately monitor their hives in order to optimize production, save time and take care of their bees by preventing problems and diseases. With the project "Adopt a beehive" you can choose a hive, protect it and follow it remotely, selecting the beekeeper you prefer and supporting his activity. 3Bee is proposed as a solution to multiple problems that undermine the preservation of bees and the protection of the environment.
In order to answer the research question, a small sample was selected, carrying out a qualitative analysis through semi-structured interviews. The goal of the research was to understand what factors to focus on in communicating sustainability, focusing on the 3Bee project, its positive impact on the environment, and the uniqueness of a sustainable experience.
