Riassunto analitico
Phase transition has been an important subject throughout the literature of molecular simulation. The numerical results acquired through various methods differ by 10 percent. In this thesis project we have utilized molecular dynamics simulation to construct the coexistence phase of a Lennard/Jones system, solid and liquid phases. We have used equilibrium and non/equilibrium thermodynamics to the end. the system is characterized by an almost large number of particles and there has been executions with large amounts of steps to reduce the statistical errors to the minimum possible. The results are numerical and graphical in terms of the temperature and the density mainly. the phase diagrams have been reconstructed from the results of executions with initial approximate values. |
