The contemporary world of art, in recent decades, has become the protagonist of the development of new economic scenarios and has managed to adapt perfectly to the pursuit of sustainability that has affected all industrial and non-industrial sectors. The changing society, technological innovation and the digital world have allowed artists and, therefore, galleries to develop new, sustainable and ecological ways of trading works of art. Sociological change has therefore affected this relationship which has changed, developed, and adapted to the changing times. The goal of this study is to determine how our country and its organizations are committed to determining its cultural heritage, its protection and enhancement and its dissemination. In this regard, the question posed by the research is: How does the artist-gallery relationship affect the dissemination of the artistic heritage? Are protection and enhancement perhaps the key points that an organization should consider when deciding to sell certain artistic productions? To respond, an organization was analyzed that has relationships of various kinds with contemporary artists and that has adapted to the changing times, taking into account the importance of protecting and enhancing existing artistic collections. The work has, among its objectives, to identify what really is part of our cultural heritage and what is meant by its protection and enhancement, subsequently it aims to analyze the different relationships that an artist can have with an art gallery that deals with disseminating his productions to collectors and organizations of various kinds. On this basis, it was possible to ascertain how much sustainability has affected all the considerations previously made. Future research could be aimed at identifying additional factors that organizations should take into consideration when choosing relationships with the various players in the world of the art market.
