Riassunto analitico
L’oggetto di studio del presente elaborato è la Corporate Social Responsibility, fenomeno diffuso da anni, che rappresenta un valore aggiunto al quale le aziende, ormai, non possono più rinunciare. L’elaborato è costituito da quattro capitoli: il primo capitolo, intitolato “La CSR come strumento strategico aziendale”, ha come obiettivo quello di spiegare, brevemente, l’origine e l’evoluzione del concetto di responsabilità sociale d’impresa e presentare i principali benefici che derivano dall’adozione di pratiche ad essa relative. Nel secondo capitolo, intitolato “La CSR e gli Stakeholder”, vengono analizzati, innanzitutto, due celebri modelli/teorie su cui si fonda l’essenza stessa della CSR, seguendo poi con una classificazione degli stakeholder (o portatori d’interesse) e la presentazione di una nota ricerca sull’impatto delle pratiche di responsabilità sociale sui comportamenti d’acquisto dei consumatori. Il terzo capitolo, dal titolo “Comunicare la CSR: essere o apparire?”, si sofferma, in primis, su uno dei principali rischi in cui, spesso, si imbattono le aziende in tema di CSR: il greenwashing. Successivamente, vengono presentati i principali strumenti per un’efficace comunicazione della responsabilità sociale d’impresa. Nel quarto e ultimo capitolo, intitolato “Analisi di due casi nel settore agroalimentare: Coop e Lidl”, dopo una breve presentazione delle due note aziende, l’attenzione viene posta sulle pratiche di CSR messe in atto dalle stesse in tema di sostenibilità e tutela dei diritti.

Abstract
The object of study of this paper is Corporate Social Responsibility, a phenomenon that has been widespread for years, which represents an added value that companies can no longer give up.
The essay is composed of four chapters: the first chapter, titled "CSR as a strategic corporate tool", aims to explain the origin and evolution of the concept of corporate social responsibility and to present the main benefits deriving from the adoption of related practices.
In the second chapter, titled "The CSR and stakeholder", first of all, two famous models/theories referred to CSR are analysed, followed by a classification of the stakeholders and the presentation of a well-known research on the impact of social responsibility practices on consumer purchasing behavior.
The third chapter, titled "Communicating CSR: to be or to appear?" firstly focuses on one of the main risks that companies often encounter in terms of CSR: greenwashing. Subsequently, it examines the main tools for an effective communication of corporate social responsibility.
In the fourth and final chapter, titled "Analysis of two cases in the agri-food sector: Coop and Lidl", after a brief presentation of the two well-known companies, the attention is focused on the CSR practices of the two companies in terms of sustainability and protection of rights.
