Abstract
The objective of the internship and thesis activity is to define guidelines and methodologies in order to obtain measurable Software Quality Assurance and Software Quality Control metrics to support the decision-making process in the context of agile software development.
The methodologies obtained start from a careful study of the state of the art in the field of Software Quality management, with particular reference to the fields of Systems Engineering and Test Engineering.
As a business use case, a development project of an Integrated Digital Platform for data analysis was chosen, a complex integration system both from a technical and project management point of view.
The internship activity resulted in the identification of some measurable characteristics in the reference company context and in the subsequent implementation of business intelligence dashboards linked to the backlog of the development teams.
The results were validated by the main corporate stakeholders of the activity through verification and validation sessions. The dashboards created are currently used in technical governance as a decision support tool for software product releases.
