Il mondo della comunicazione aziendale è in continua evoluzione. Il progresso tecnologico e le tendenze sociali servono come driver per le politiche di marketing. In particolare, la rivoluzione digitale nel mondo globalizzato sembra avere definitivamente sconvolto il paradigma classico della comunicazione basato sul mittente-messaggio-ricevente-feedback. Internet più di un medium è un ambiente caratterizzato dalla totale assenza di gerarchia tra gli interlocutori, è un testo perennemente aperto dove chiunque può partecipare a scrivere la storia. In questo scenario, negli ultimi anni si è affermata nel mondo delle strategie di comunicazione di business una tecnica speciale che mira a creare engagement e valore di marca attraverso l'uso del flash forward e della suspense. L'obiettivo di questo lavoro è quello di indagare, attraverso l'analisi empirica dei diversi casi di studio, il funzionamento delle teaser campaign, cercando di capire quale potrebbe essere la loro efficacia. Si cerca inoltre di approfondire le cause della sinergia esistente tra questa tecnica di comunicazione e i media digitali, in particolare i social network. Così, dopo un excursus sulle tecniche di narrazione nel mondo digitale, la tesi include la proposta di un nuovo modello di elaborazione delle informazioni. Infine, il lavoro si conclude con l'indicazione, ricavata dai case history, di un elenco di caratteristiche che rendono efficace una campagna teaser e con una riflessione riguardo gli scenari futuri di questa forma innovativa di comunicazione.

Abstract
The world of business communication is constantly changing. Technological progress and social trends serve as drivers for marketing policies. In particular, the digital revolution in the globalized world seems to have definitely upset the classical paradigm of communication based on sender-message-receiver-feedback. Internet more than one medium is an environment characterized by the complete lack of hierarchy between the interlocutors, it is a text continuously open where anyone can participate in writing the story. In this scenario in recent years it has established itself in the world of business communication strategies a special technique that aims to create engagement and value to the brand through the use of the flash forward and suspense. The goal of this work is to investigate, through the empirical analysis of several case studies, the workings of the teaser campaign, trying to figure out what might be their effectiveness. It also attempts to deepen the causes of the synergy between this communication technique and digital media, especially social networks. So, after a digression about the techniques of storytelling in the digital world, the thesis includes the proposal of a new model of information processing. Finally, the work ends with a list of features that make effective a teaser campaign and a reflection about the future scenarios of this innovative form of communication.
