Riassunto analitico
Sullo scenario del distretto ceramico di Sassuolo, la tesi ha approfondito un’analisi del ruolo che hanno influenzatori d’acquisto come architetti, interior designer e imprese di costruzioni sul processo di acquisto del consumatore finale del materiale ceramico. In particolare, l’analisi è partita con un approfondimento del distretto ceramico prendendo in considerazione le sue origini, il trend del settore grazie ai dati riferiti all’ultimo decennio con un particolare approfondimento sugli effetti che la pandemia da Covid-19 ha avuto sui numeri dell’industria, e sul ruolo che le imprese ceramiche del distretto hanno in riferimento al resto dei competitor sparsi per il mondo. Il secondo capitolo della tesi ha focalizzato l’attenzione sulla teoria relativa a quello che è il processo di acquisto di un consumatore, con un focus dedicato al materiale ceramico, e il possibile ruolo che ricoprono le figure degli influencers nel consigliare e approfondire insieme al cliente questo processo passo dopo passo. Inoltre, l’ultimo capitolo ha approfondito un’analisi sui risultati forniti da interviste qualitative effettuate su un campione di 8 tra architetti e interior designer italiani e stranieri. Queste interviste hanno permesso di analizzare le strategie, le modalità, l’eventuale consapevolezza degli attori in gioco e le possibili implicazioni per il futuro che questi influenzatori d’acquisto utilizzano nel processo d’acquisto dei loro clienti interessati a fornirsi di materiale ceramico. Infine, grazie all’aiuto del Direttore promozione di un’importante azienda ceramica multinazionale e presente nel distretto Sassolese, è stato possibile commentare in modo critico le implicazioni manageriali e teoriche dei risultati emersi.

Abstract
Based on the Sassuolo’s ceramic district, this master thesis has studied an analysis of the role that influencers such as architects, interior designers and building companies, may have in the ceramic tiles’ consumers’ purchasing process.
In particular, the analysis started with an investigation of the origins of the ceramic district, moving to its trend by taking into consideration data regarding the last decade with a in-depth study of how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected it, and finally, the differentiation of the ceramic’s manufacturers present in the Sassuolo’d district respects to competitors spread all over the world.
Furthermore, the second chapter of the thesis is focused on the theory regarding consumers’ purchasing process, with a focus on the ceramic tiles, and the role that influencers have on each step of this process by affecting and shape the final clients buying behaviours.
To conclude, the last chapter of the master thesis analyses the data resulted by 8 qualitative interviews conducted on a sample of 8 architects and interior designers both Italian and not. These interviews allowed to deeply analyse the strategies and methodologies adopted, moreover, the focus has been on the awareness that these influencers have of their role and the possible implications for the future of the ceramic industry.
Finally, thanks to the promotion Director of one of the biggest multinational enterprise presents in the Sassuolo’s district, it has been possible to critically evaluate the managerial and economic strategies that may be adopted based on the results obtained.
