This work is the result of an internship carried out at CNH Industrial. The objective of this activity was to find a method to estimate and diagnose the degree of wear of the service brakes of an agricultural tractor for predictive maintenance. The logical flow presented in this thesis is: at first, the concept and the predictive maintenance techniques currently available in the literature will be analyzed, then the component operation will be analyzed. The methods found for estimating the degree of wear of the service brakes will be illustrated. The method with which the pressure torque curve was created using the analysis of experimental data (via Matlab) will then be presented and the creation of a new item to be included in the Flight Recorder (FREC) will be presented, which could be useful for the data collection of the tractors operating on field. |

Abstract
