Riassunto analitico
The aim of this thesis is to implement a setup to generate, collect and analyse safety messages exchanged among cars in a real environment. The study employs two different radio technologies: Dedicated Short-Range Communications (IEEE 802.11p), and Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X). The process starts from the creation of the code used to generate messages, it goes on with the creation of the test setup, and then ends with the test execution in a real environment with different scenarios, where it is possible to collect different types of data. The collected data are then elaborated with MatLab in order to compare the performances that the two radio technologies achieves.
