Abstract
The aim of this thesis work is to present the multiple organizational forms that the social capital of a given territory can take. The approach adopted to achieve this goal was the approach based on "Community Making", that is to research the peculiar characteristics of this capital in the employment and organizational structure of the territorial economic network. Starting from official statistical sources, I tried to extract the qualities inherent in the analyzed local communities, in the comparison between the various cases, showing the most obvious similarities and differences and from there deriving the peculiarities of each, trying to verify the proposed hypotheses. The result was the subdivision of the Italian territory into three macro sets, each with its own characteristic social capital, which can be obtained from the forms with which these systems regulate and structure themselves, in their community movement: City-Hub; Industrial Districts; Labor Tribe. The greater attention paid to the so-called Labor Tribe is justified by the evident desire to contribute, despite the limits dictated by the approach adopted, to the debate concerning the center-periphery relationship, trying to analyze the various hypothesized dimensions, in comparison with each other, to highlight the existence or not of a link with the institutional center and highlight the organizational alternatives to this relationship of dependence on the center.
The Labor Tribe is a system with social assistance capital that emerges in times of crisis, mobilizing the young workforce towards those always green economic sectors, with well-defined legal and managerial boundaries that best represent this form of social capital: health and assistance.
