Composite materials are increasingly being used in the field of structural reinforcement techniques. However, whether they are used for the adaptation of reinforced concrete structures or masonry buildings, we are never faced with a single solution when it comes to the choice of materials. The analysis of composites in the field of construction focuses on the structural field, but it also studies how these materials can be made durable and easy to incorporate with the various construction methods available today. The work of my thesis fits into this horizon with the aim of studying the properties of composites used in construction, so as to make safe, reliable, eco-sustainable, durable infrastructure and consequently also our health. The composite materials that have been analyzed in the thesis work are piezo-resistant cementitious composites, which have been subjected to electrical tests, in order to determine the percolation threshold and the piezo-resistant properties of these composites. The final result is to define the ideal concentration of Graphene and MWCNTs so that piezo-resistant cements compostes can be produced.
