Riassunto analitico
The aim of this work is to present the productive district of the local typical product "Vignola cherry PGI" and to investigate its main strengths and weaknesses.
After the first introductory part concerning the sector in which the district operates and its main trends and performances, the work focuses on the presentation of the district as a whole, that is to say, its evolution in time, the current dimensional characteristics, the strategies pursued, its performances and the actors of the value chain.
The last part is dedicated to the presentation of the exploratory research conducted throughout the value chain with the purpose to bring out the strengths and the weaknesses of the district.
Considering the information collected, the work concludes with a SWOT analysis which is, in turn, exploited to develop possible strategies to enhance the Vignola cherry PGI.
