The aim of this thesis is to analyses how companies can use external supports in their internationalization process. Analyzing these services, there will be a focus on the Temporary management and the knowledge transfer. This project is divided in two sections: the first one is a theoretic section, while the second part is an empiric section. The first chapter regards the importance of the internationalization services for the companies, with a particular focus on the service of the Temporary management, in the end of the chapter. The second chapter deals with the concept of the knowledge transfer. In the internationalization contest, thanks to the new technologies it is possible for companies to acquire new sources of knowledge and increase the acquisition of new information. In particular it will be analyzed the method of the Knowledge Management, an approach that takes into consideration the company’s knowledge in order to manage the most important information to innovate. According to this approach, it is important to analyze the mechanism of knowledge transfer in order to better understand the importance of the temporary management in this topic. The third chapter presents the objective of the thesis, that is the analysis of the process of transfer of knowledge and skills between the temporary manager and the company analyzing the conditions that make this process possible, as well as the opportunities and the difficulties emerged during the relationship. To investigate the cognitive objectives of this thesis, a qualitative survey was carried out using a case study. Through an internship at Octagona India, company of the Temporary Manager, the data collection took place through a face to face interview to the TM and to the client firm. Finally, in the fourth chapter the results of the survey are presented and discussed, highlighting the motivations that have prompted the company to internationalize, the skills and the work of TM in order to transfer new international knowledge to the company, the efficiency of the mechanisms that have been implemented to facilitate the process of knowledge transfer and the results obtained from the implementation of the specific internationalization plan envisaged by the project

Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to analyses how companies can use external supports in their internationalization process.
