Riassunto analitico
The goal of my research work is to study is the design and imple-mentation of an Internet monitoring tool that builds in real time dynamicmaps of the Internet. The maps are visualized as graphs in GML format.These maps are thereafter labelled using country and risk labels. Finally aspectral clustering is applied to these graph in order to extract essential fea-tures. The topic of the internship is to evaluate different visualization toolsand approaches for BGP Routes maps visualization that will enable the enduser to concentrate on essential part of the maps. These maps have stronginterest in cybersecurity studies as well to understand the dynamics of In-ternet. We first design and implement the framework called bgpgeopoliticsthat is able to connect to routes collectors, extract the routing information,manage it by reorganization and adding new label and then save it in gmlformat. Furthermore we implement a spectral clustering algorithm to clus-ter this graph in several clusters according some similarity criteria. We alsoimplement in gephi some plugins for visualization in order to focus on someparticular parts of the graph. This plugins allow to understand the dynamicand evolution of routing information |
