Questo progetto di tesi si propone di analizzare il tema della migrazione e l'accoglienza dei migranti tra i Caraibi e l'Inghilterra, considerando le difficoltà e le problematiche che ne derivano. In particolare l'analisi di questi temi vengono affrontati includendo l'approfondimento di opere teatrali di due autori: Mustapha Matura e Winsome Pinnock. Il primo in quanto uno dei rappresentanti della nascita del genere letterario che da spazio alle storie personali dei migranti; e Winsome Pinnock in quanto autrice donna di rilievo del teatro contemporaneo.
Questo lavoro ha lo scopo di inserirsi in un'analisi approfondita di un tema centrale della società contemporanea e che rappresenta un problema reale in ambito sociale e culturale.

This project aims to analyze the theme of migration and welcoming of migrants between the Caribbeans and England, considering the difficulties and issue that derive from that. In particular, the analysis of these themes are considered including details about playwrights from two authors: Mustapha Matura and Winsome Pinnock. The first one as one of the representatives of the creation of the literary genre which gives space to the migrants' personal stories; and Winsome Pinnock as a relevant female author in contemporary theatre. This work has the aim of be included into a specific analysis of a central theme for the contemporary society and that represents a real issue in social and cultural terms.
